“Hesperia, City Beach“

The kitchen is a bold convergence of elemental materials and contemporary design – an expansive immersive space where functions meets raw beauty.

At its core, rammed earth walls anchor the space with their warm striations and tactile depth, infusing the interior with a sense of permanence and place. These sculptural surfaces set the tone for a design rooted in nature yet elevated through modern contrasts.

Microment flooring, paired with underfloor heating, creates a seamless and tactile underfoor experience. Above this earthy foundation, matte black pearlescent cabinetry introduces a sleek, contemporary edge, whilst the porcelain clad benchtops and splashbacks inspired by volcanic stones serve as a rugged, industrial counterpoint.

From the left, tall cabinetry wraps the walls of the cool room, fully integrated freezer and internal drawers encase the room leading to a entryway cladded in a pearlescent matte black as a conitnuation of the kitchen. Wrapping to the rear of the kitchen, tall storage filled with internal pullouts and dedicated appliance cabinets with retractable doors frame the surrounds of the washing zone. 12mm dekton frames the washing up area, rebated lighting within the top panel illumates the benchtop from above, a large double bowl sink for washing up, waste and recycle centre below the sink, purposfully small in literage to illiminate ordour, integrated appliances and drawers surrounding either side for crockery, tupperware and dinnerware.

The island, large, but proportial to the size of the kitchen, a small sink with zip tap is allocated the far right, allowing the induction cooktop and island canopies to sit central to the overall width. Large drawers fill the island for serving and cooking ware whilst the informal dining to the adjacent allow for family to sit and enjoy one anothers company for meals and deep enough for the platter of foods to sit centrally.

This kitchen is a study in restraint and material integrity. Rammed earth walls bring warmth and texture, grounding the space with natural variation and subtle depth. Underfoot, microcement floors create a seamless, neutral foundation, softened by underfloor heating for comfort and quiet luxury. Matte black pearlescent cabinetry introduces sculptural contrast – its matte finish absorbing light, while a soft shimmer adds understated complexity. Textural porcelain benchtops and splashbacks complete the palette with a rugged, industrial edge, adding both durability and visual interest. Every surface is intentional. The result is a space that feels elemental, refined, and quality confident.
